I recently installed an LED bar and bought this kit to use for wiring in the switch and LED power. This connected set included t-tap splices as well as the quick connect fittings which I really liked because I may decide to wire in a lighted switch later & the quick disconnects will make that a lot easier. This kit has taps and connectors for several different wire sizes so I will be able to use it for other projects later.

I love using these T-Tap Splices for interior auto work. They make quick, tight connections in places where I can't/don't want to solder. Haven't had any of them fail me yet so I'll be going to these for my dry location, interior auto work . Simple to use, reliable and you get a good assortment with this kit, at a great price also. I've used them on some marine work also but I prefer heat shrink connectors for boat work.

I turned to these as an alternative to the really expensive vampire wire taps usually used in outdoor light. So far I have been very pleased.This is a wire crimped solution so you need a crimping tool (very inexpensive). You need to select the right size of connector for the gauge of wire you are using (I am using 14 gauge light wires to 12 gauge main wire).These are NOT water proof, but can be made waterproof by the addition of liquid tape or electronic grade silicone (I am using liquid tape - just dipping the entire assembly with wires into the liquid and letting it dry).Total cost savings per clamp is about $2 per connection over previous landscape lighting vampire taps, so significant when you are replacing or repairing about 10 lamp fixtures a year.

Lot more connectors than I will ever use, but less expensive than going to my local automotive store. No issues, they seem like they will hold up.

Bought this kit because I needed a T-tap connector. Used the connector to tap into back-up light wires on my 05 Acura RSX. The back-up light uses a 22 gauge AWG. The T-tap connector fitted perfectly, providing power and signal for my rear view back up camera. The kit comes with other wire gauges, including matching terminals. Highly recommended.

Great easy to use connectors for those jobs where you know you'll be back to change things out. Solid locking ends and clean connections, well worth the money spent. Would like to see a heat shrink combo connector

Perfect for what I needed but for certain wires might have to splice just a bit especially small wires. I could use more but smaller ones meant for smaller wires.

I found it extremely hard to secure a wire in the female part of the connector. I even looked all over internet to see if there is s special tool for this, but didn't find anything. The wire inside that is supposed to hold wire in place is very hard to crimp. Please if somebody has foud a good too how to to crimp these easily, let me know...Otherwise I was happy with this product.

These are cool as thay have one more feature the other wire splice do not have and that is a plug in plug out at the rear seam of the wire splice .I use mine for fast repairs as time is a factor for me .
