This is a really well built device, however, if you use a compass which I absolutely have to, the quality of the magnets will skew your compass reading, they are very strong!It skewed my compass as far as 2ft away.This has nothing to do with with the seller or the quality of the product.

Got this because i got tired of finding my octo dragging thru the sand. The magnet is pretty strong and the octo stays attached. Put some silicone on both magnet and receiver to inhibit rust. It takes some playing around to have your regulator orientated the way you want when its engaged, but just keep the screws loose and turn it so it lies the way you want it, then tighten it up. I'm happy with the purchase.
