Makes it much cleaner and easier to load bulk caulk gun.

Spendy but it works on the graduated buckets very well, and the rubber seal is replaceable

This honestly is more of a pain to clean up afterwards than just sticking your gun in the bucket slightly and scraping it off the sides. I've been caulking for 10 years with albion guns and np2 pails. Our boss brought several of these out and it takes for ever to clean. Not to mention how hard is it to take back out. It's got some ridiculous suction using np2 buckets that we had to use a 2x4 to start priying it out from the angle stick it has poking up. We left a couple also inside a bucket with xylol to clean while we ate break and the gasket srank as well. Albion makes great products. This one isn't one of them

I have to say that I am extremely dissatisfied with this product. I purchased it to use in combination with the Albion 18V powered dispenser. If you try to load bulk material, all I can say is "Good Luck". 1st attempts, with the dispenser tightly screwed to the plate... unsuccessful. It has a leather gasket to create the seal needed for "drawing" the product like a huge syringe. I didn't realize that we had reverted to Model-T technology in this day of modern materials. This gasket was sucked into the dispenser. It was so pliable and misfitting, that it actually migrated into the dispenser. I modified with an O-Ring from Ace Hardware and a disposable dispenser nozzle (Plastic) modified/sawed off to act as a permanent guide to hold the O-Ring firmly in place and to create the airtight seal needed to extract bulk product. I can now successfully load material into the dispenser... well, partially successful as I usually only achieve a 2/3 load before the LEATHER gasket cups IN THE dispenser start by-passing air and will not draw bulk product any further. If you are convinced that you can have better luck, remember to manually draw slowly, if your product is thick, consider thinning, if applicable water based, apply downward pressure on the dispenser as you "pull in" material.Would I buy this product again or recommend? NEVER.

It would only make it halfway down. Can't find straight sided metal pails anymore.
