Make Your Sound Your Own
You’ve worked hard to perfect your style. It’s yours and yours alone. You have your favorite sticks—just the right weight and length. You love playing those long triplet fills. No one is going to mistake your playing for someone else’s. Same thing with your sound—it has to be uniquely yours. Don’t trust your sound to an ordinary speaker. You need the Alesis Strike Amp 12 powered drumming speaker.

2000 Watts of Room-Shaking Power
With 2000 watts of explosive bi-amplified power and super high-performance transducers, this speaker will always play loud and clear, in any space, in any situation—whether you’re performing, recording or rehearsing. The heavy-duty 12-inch low frequency driver really adds the “kick” to kickdrum. And the high-frequency compression driver in its computer-optimized waveguide conveys all the brilliance and snap of your snare drum and cymbals.

Setup Simplicity
The Strike Amp 12 has all the versatility and features needed to fit in anywhere and it’s a snap to set up and use – featuring a lightweight and flexible tilt-back cabinet design that can also be pole-mounted. You can use it vertically or tilt it back horizontally like a stage monitor.

Hookup Flexibility
Dual XLR/TRS 1/4-inch combo inputs with independent volume controls and clip indicator means there is virtually unlimited hookup versatility and you’ll never unknowingly overdrive the speaker into distortion. There’s even an XLR output to link another Strike Amp 12 or send your performance to another input device.

Customize Your Sound
Need to customize the sound for that “just right” tone? Use the on-board Contour EQ control. Plus, the Ground-Lift switch eliminates unwanted noise so you can be certain the sound you hear is the purest recreation of your signature tone.

My husband uses this amp for drums. Excellent quality sound, no issues with connection at all. Never once have we had a power issue. Great purchase for the price! Easy setup.

I have a Roland VAD drum kit with the TD-17 and I originally bought a Roland PM100 personal monitor. I was very disappointed with the Roland monitor and read reviews mentioning the Alesis Strike Amp for about the same price. I got the Strike Amp and it is so much louder and clear sounding over the Roland. I can only turn it up about 1/2 way on the amp and sound module before the stuff on my walls start to rattle. In fact I have to go through my house and re-level all of the picture frames on my wall after playing drums because it’s so loud.I recommend this amp!!! The only concern I have is other reviews that talk about failures but time will tell. My initial first week impression is to buy this!! I want a second one to run in stereo but I may need to have the fillings in my teeth replaced after that! It’s such a loud amp!! boom boom! Oh the bass is also is the best part.

It is a high quality and versatile amp. The sound is amazing and very powerful. The amp was bigger and heavier than I expected, but unless you have to carry it out on a daily basis, then I don't see it being a problem. On the exterior it looks very modern and made of high quality materials. I usually use at level 3 volume as that is plenty for practicing purposes. I cannot wait to be able to use it outdoors and crank it up.

There are two plug in's for drum and microphone. GREAT sound, heavy duty built, can be mounted on a stand. 2000 Watts. I have it on less than half volume in the house. Plenty left.

The amp sounds pretty good with the Alesis drum kit. I used it to jam with my buddies 2 weeks ago (I only had the amp a few weeks and only used it 1 other time). I used both left and right output on the Alesis Nitro drum kit and had the volume between 5 and 6 on both channels. It sounded great but after about 30 minutes it went silent. After a minute it came back on but the high end was gone. I tried again after 5 minutes, after 30 minutes and the next day. The high end tweeter had failed. I contacted Amazon and Alesis. Alesis hasn't gotten back to me but Amazon was great and replaced it. Fingers crossed on the next one.

Was a bit hesitant to purchase with the Alesis name. However I am glad I bit the bullet and purchased this amp/speaker. Very responsive when playing at low volumes as well as more than enough power to really shake the wall without distortion when turned up a bit. I use this for my electric drum kit from Roland and it compliments it very well. Since it has two inputs I have played a bit with the drums one one channel and had a bass going in the second. Neither overpowers the other. This is the best amp combo I have had at this price range. Would definitely recommend.

I bought two of these for my basement studio a month apart (one from Amazon and the other from a local retailer). The idea was to be able to listen to my electronic drum kit in stereo for those days I wanted to take off the headphones and jam out. They sounded incredible and I was really giddy, then, inexplicably, BOTH tweeters stopped working. I never turned the volume past 7 (and there was no need to really) so I'm at a complete loss as to what happened. All I know is after 4 months of sporadic use, I'm out of 800 frickin dollars. It's criminal. In all my years of high-end audio (going back to the 80s), I've never had anything like this happen, EVER. I am so confused I don't even know what to do; repair the tweeters and then re-sell them, which would suck for the person buying them. Or, just throw them in the closet, but then there's the part of being out of 800 frickin' dollars man! This is absolutely terrible. If you're reading this don't buy this speaker. There are other reviews that had the same problem. All of us can't be wrong. Take a look at the Harbinger series from Guitar Center. I have two of the 15s and an 18 inch sub and they are work horses. As for me, I'm gonna try to replace these tweeters and then decide my next step(s).Update: I ended up sending them back to Alesis to have the tweeters replaced. The replacement was free but I had to pay $65 for shipping at Fedex (Fedex was absolutely amazing!). When I got them back, I promptly took them to Guitar Center who offered me $300 for the both of them. I applied that towards two Harbinger Vari V2312s to go with my two Harbinger 15s and the 18 and I could not be happier...except for the, I'm out of $500 part. lolOh well, sometimes you lose. For what it's worth, Alesis customer service saw it through to the end, so there is that.

My band has been distanced practicing of late, so I'm using the ole V drums in lieu of my Sonor babies (just trying not to piss the neighbors off too much!) I was running the V drums through the PA, but I bought one of these babies--and my volume hog bassist (and my guitarist) is jealous of the sound. And I must admit, my volume has been creeping up until I'm not sure my acoustic kit would be louder? But it sounds monstrous. Bass frequencies are the most compelling, but it does a nice job of handling the high end ( cymbals). Easily portable, powerful, great sound. Well worth the money.

The SMPS IC of the amp blew out, unfortunately the company is refusing to respect the warranty and is not even providing technical details of the speaker for me to fix it locally.Purchasing such an expensive Alesis product was a mistake. After sales service is non-existent.
