It is what we needed because we need a long hasp to span the gap between our two gates. The length was as stated. The only thing that would have been better would be if it was a bit heavier duty metal, or a wider width of metal. But it worked for what we needed.

It's suitable for what I'm doing but be aware it's not heavy. It wouldn't take much to pry it off the gate or whatever you're locking. Longer screws would definitely be a good idea. They need to include a template as the screw holes between the two pieces have to be in a pretty exact place for everything to line up. I tried three times to get it working right.

This hasp was long enough to be used to make the transition of a double door that did not have a wood casement where the two doors met.

This Padlock Hasp is very high quality and great finish. Made from stainless steel.I ordered & returned others that looked similar on Amazon website but delivered items was poor quality & finish.But this particular brand from "Alise" is great quality. Highly recommended.
