This was easy to install. I did it by myself with just a screwdriver. Its not made from cheap material I've had mine for about 6 months now and I haven't run into any issues.

Thought it was a heavier duty latch it's not at all for security maybe to look like it and barely does that

The latch is good and easy to install. I used it to lock my backyard fence. My complaint is that it rusts almost immediately. I'm talking, first normal rain storm. It started with the screws and now the rust is migrating to the latch.
