My 14 yo wanted to make a statement at his homecoming dance. All the bow ties we saw in our local stores were over $25 and I wasn’t willing to spend that on an accessory he would only wear one night. Honestly I was nervous about the quality for the price, but when it showed up we were pleased. It was a nice vibrant pink like pictured. The overall quality was good, it was adjustable and actually stayed in place. Thanks to Amazon he was able to make his statement that was affordable for mom!

Expect to clip some loose threads, and for the stitching on the binding fabric at the centre to be a bit random, (one of the 2 used a zig-zag, while the other used three 6mm diagonal stitches). I'm not at all disappointed by this.The demonstration image of this pre-tied satin bowtie for children depicts a bright magenta, but what arrives will be a rich medium burgundy.~ This error can be fortunate for any who shop at The Children's Place retail chain, as the shade is a perfect match to their current burgundy twill pants, (a great selection for stylish dress, esp. at school or for special events with a classy look in the business-casual range).As it happens, the ties arrived today, ahead of schedule, (which I thank the seller for). My sons will be thrilled that the dress ties that they requested will complete their Holiday concert look onstage, tomorrow.I feel that the purchase was good value for the money spent and I respect that these are handmade items, (preferable to me). Glad to see that they are adjustable to find the right fit.
