We had an Arlo system for the last six years and bought Blink on Amazon Prime Day for a great price. It was a great move, and I hope this review helps. Why did we switch? We had an Arlo system with three cameras and base station, and cloud access was free - and generally good. When we added two other cameras to the system, they couldn't be added to the free cloud access, and they were at points on our home that frequently couldn't be accessed on our phones. Additionally, the only way to get clips from our USB drive was to be home, unplug that drive, and open the clips on a computer. I researched lots on this thinking I was losing my mind, and even reached out to Arlo. No fix. This is the reality. And that's just unacceptable. We also were not consistently receiving notification from cameras - even those very close to the base system - and had to reboot them often and "reconnect" them to the system. That's also unacceptable.With the Blink, we bought all five cameras, and the square "puck" device that connects them all is really small - and it reaches all of them with great signal! They all consitently report movement, and generate clips successfully. We chose not to buy the Blink plan, although it's very affordable to do so and book clips to the cloud. Instead, we have no Blink subscription, and our clips save to a USB drive on the puck, which we CAN access remotely. We are consistently notified, all cameras - even those at far points - are offering great signal and consistent notification. We access all cameras, all clips, and that's terrific.You may wonder if the app is way better, or visual quality is better on Blink vs Arlo. Our thoughts: about the same in app and video, but the Blink is FAR superior in consistency, consistent monitoring and reach to every camera across many points.We purchased two after-market solar chargers that work great and have an internal battery. We also purchased two blink outdoor power cords that work great, but we wish they had internal batteries to charge the camera when power goes out.All in all, a terrific system. Buy it during Amazon's great prime day sales.

Blink cameras are nice to use easy and enjoy the safety these cameras provide. Installation wasn’t difficult. Range of view is very good. I like the ability to talk to someone through the cameras or can hear talking or noise through them on my phone. We have used them for about a year

This review is for the "All-New Blink Outdoor Camera Mount, Compatible with Blink 4th and 3rd Gen Outdoor Camera,360 Degree...". The kit comes packaged just as described (pic provided). The mounts ARE compatible with the 3rd (Third) Gen cameras. I did not experience any issue snapping them in place. However, I would strongly suggest that you get familiar with the 360-degree swivel AND 90-degree tilt features before mounting. I learned this when I installed my first camera and being on a ladder (for quite some time) trying to maneuver the swivel and tilt...I became a little restless. Mounting the second camera wasn't as tiring because - again - I learned my lesson from the first. Finally, the outlet wall mount included is a very nice addition.

I bought a three pack of cameras and a sync module. After viewing the video, the set up was easy. The mounts that came with the cameras are crap. They don't allow enough adjustment for the camera. I made them work, but I bought better mounts for future replacement. I got 30 days of cloud storage for free. It works well, but the cost is too high for me. I bought a thumb drive for the sync module and I store my images there. It is not as convenient, but it works well and doesn't cost $100 per month. I decided to buy another camera, but it cost $90 now. I'll wait till it goes on sale.

I was worried about finding suitable replacements for my lost Blink Outdoor Camera mounts, but these exceeded my expectations. They fit perfectly, are easy to install, and the adjustable angles allow me to position my cameras exactly how I want.The build quality is great, and they've held up well outdoors. I'm actually glad I lost the originals because these mounts are even better! Highly recommended. I love them bc they can sit up i don't necessarily haveee to mount them .
