The convert your regular guitars into a slide, dobro, type guitar. Makes it sound awesome.

Wow!!! I could not believe how amazing it sounds, Great bang for the buck! Use it for Blues, County, Bluegrass, and other genres, on my resonator guitar. Great tone. Don't waste your money on some expensive nut extender. This one is great!

A bit wider than the nut on my guitar but it does what it's ment for just fine. Good stuff!

The item pictured is not the item you get. I wanted an extension with actual grooves to seat the strings (like the one pictured). Instead, I received what I can only describe as a ground down L-bracket with useless narrow and EXTREMELY shallow slits that go over the bend in the L-bracket. With sharp edges that I wouldn't let near my fret board. Now I have to order one from another seller and won't have it by this weekend like I had hoped.UPDATE: The description of this item should also point out that the product you will receive is for wide neck guitars only. The string spacing and length is wider than any of the 7 guitars that I own. I am learning that this is the case for every nut extension on Amazon. Depending on the neck width you have, the best you can hope for is the low and high E strings lining up with the outside edges of your neck. This extension I received would be ok for my epiphone acoustic, but that is a 12 string! If you want your action on your guitar raised, put a new nut on it and leave the action high. Then just work on your "touch". Retain the old nut in case you ever want to change it back. It's not difficult to do. A small tap with a block of wood and a "small" drop of super glue and that's it. This would be the way to go if you still want to be able to fret notes anyway.

Value for money. An experimental venture but turned out success.
