I love this pull-up bar. It was super easy to setup using the included instruction. Will fit multiple sized doorframes. Put it into my door frame with the included rubber pads. Doesn’t scratch the door dram at all. Super sturdy. I don’t feel like it’s going to fall or break. The foam grips make it super comfortable. Definitely recommend.

I recently purchased the Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar Door Frame, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. This pull-up bar has become an integral part of my daily fitness routine, and it deserves a solid 5-star rating for several reasons.First and foremost, assembly was a breeze. I'm not particularly handy, but I had this pull-up bar up and ready to use within minutes. The clear instructions and the fact that no additional tools were required made the setup process incredibly smooth. One of the standout features of the Ally Peaks Pull Up Bar is its sturdiness. I was pleasantly surprised at how well it supports my body weight during pull-ups, chin-ups, and various other exercises. The bar feels secure and doesn't wobble, providing me with the confidence I need to perform my workouts safely. What's even more impressive is the affordability of this pull-up bar. In a market where fitness equipment can often break the bank, Ally Peaks has managed to provide a high-quality, durable product at a price point that won't empty your wallet. It's an excellent value for the level of quality and functionality it offers.Additionally, the pull-up bar's design allows for versatile use. Not only can I use it for pull-ups and chin-ups, but I've also attached resistance bands to it for added exercise variety. It has truly enhanced my home workout options.

The good:1. The cross bar has been modified to use 3 pieces instead of 2. The connection points between 3 pieces are also connected with bolts to the elbow bars. Feels sturdier than the older version of the pull-up device. It is also adjustable so you can use it on wider door frames than with the old design.2. The safety wedge piece is slightly thicker also, so another plus here. Now the bad:1. The rectangle steel bar that goes above the door frame is shorter than the old version (16-1/2" vs 18"). I cannot see any reason to make the steel bar shorter, the longer piece allows less stress on the door frame by distributing the pressure over a wider area. Logically, the steel bar should be made as long as reasonably possible to help spreading the weight, not shorter.2. The bolt heads have a slightly less diameter than on the old version bar. Taking into account that many buyers complained about breaking the heads on the bolts when exercising, it makes sense to keep the head diameter at least the same size as before. Now, one major improvement for installation process in is to place the cross pull up bar above the 2 elbow bars instead of connecting it under the elbow bars as per instruction manual. By placing the main bar on top it helps to minimize the issue of breaking the bolt heads that hold the pull up bar in place. Placing the main bar on top of the elbow pieces it is just another way to help with a better weight distribution. Check the attached pictures.

This was my first time buying a doorway pullup bar. I have always been skeptical, because I just didn't believe that the door trim would be strong enough, or that the bar would be sturdy enough. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was completely wrong, and if I had know I would have bought one of these pullup bars years ago.I chose this model because it it adjustable, and is advertised as being able to support 500lbs, whereas most other products only advertise a 300lb rating. I am an apartment dweller, so I wanted something that would work with different door frame widths, and that I could even use in a hotel while traveling. The pullup bar assembles with only four bolts, and is designed such that all members align correctly when all four bolts are installed. Width is selected by installing two of the bolts in the desired holes. This product is unbelievable sturdy! It is not some cheap gadget that uses false advertising, but rather appears to have been thoughtfully engineered to provide a great product that is actually overdesigned for the expected loads. Installing it in the doorway is easy, and it is amazingly secure with no wobbling and hardly any flexing! In fact, the bar moves less that the freestanding power rack that I used to use. I have repeatedly used the product for regular pullups, one-handed pullups, and autoerotic asphyxiation with no problem. At first I thought that I would be afraid to use it for fear of it coming loose, but after a week I have absolute confidence that it will hold tight.

I’ve been using this for a while at the farthest extension and it hasn’t broken or bent. It installs easily and is very helpful if you do your workouts at home.

Replaced an older similar design bar we had to throw out beacuse it was too narrow to fit a newer wider doorway. This one is similar design to the last one with important differences, thicker steel, better foam grips, way better door contact bumpers. Thoughtful extras such as clear silicone pads to go on the door so the black silicone round bits dont mark your door frame. The chinese makers done good. Bemusingly, the packaging has typical 'Chingrish' grammatical errors on the box & instructions, so that might give you a laugh. :)All in all, a great product.

it didn’t fit my door because it is not adjustable enough. Even if it had, the bar is too low for average height or taller males.

This pull up bar feels secure and strong with padding to ensure no damage is caused to paintwork. Easily taken down when you need to close the door and is the perfect addition to my training regime. Would recommend

Really happy with this - bought an aluminium one previously which showed signs of strain straight away, (I weigh a fair amount but allegedly within the limit) and gave up entirely a short while after. Spent a little more on this one - completely different in construction and general solidity. So far so good - seems built to last. Don't buy the cheapy ones unless you're a featherweight - if it fails at the wrong time you could be in trouble. Recommended.
