Got some of these to tidy up my tool box, work great and don't cost as much as some similar rails. It's been a while and none of the retainers have broken, good asset to the tool box.Jimmy, Making it work

Over time I accumulated several kinds of 1/2" socket rails, including the spring type and twist type. I finally got tired of having to work sockets off the springs and not knowing if I had to twist or not - wasting time in all cases. These are a simple straight pull off the spring loaded ball - the same on every socket, every time. I needed 7 rails for all my sockets and I wish two of them had been an inch longer, but the fit without the rubber end caps, and work fine in my tool drawer. 16 socket holders per rail worked out fine with a coule left over. I think they are great.

Good, functional product at an affordable price. Feels solid, well made and lightweight.Looks good (anodized blue), holds sockets in place tightly, no mess.Plastic pieces slide freely in channels BUT don't feel loose. Both the metal and plastic parts stand up to harsh chemicals like brake cleaner and carb cleaner.👌😊👠Totally recommend it.

My Craftsman socket set case was beat up and cracked. It just gave all it could give so I decided to get a socket organizer. I looked at magnetic but they’re huge and belong in those roll away boxes. I’m an on the go mechanic. What I’ve always dislike about the all metal socket holders is this is the 21st century, there’s better tech, extruded aluminum, plastics that make fit and finish better. So, I got these. The 1/4†drive is specifically what I’m talking about here. I also bought the 3/8th and 1/2†peckers but I’m talking about the 1/4 here.1) look great2) 5 of the ABS socket holders ball bearings are embedded in the plastic. Can’t use because they don’t hold the sockets. You folk know what I mean. You put the socket on the post and it falls right off because the ball bearing is non functional. 80% of the holders work, but that’s not what I payed for. I get it, these little buggers are hard to manufacture but that’s the company’s job. The had ONE job. So 1 star. I don’t know where to go from here except to do the “you get what you pay for†thing. But I did pay good money for this. The rail is awesome but the quality control is not there with the holders. Just saying

The rubber end caps seem like a cheap design for such a nice aluminum machined piece. Also, the picture shows a length of 17.7 but they only measure 17.0. I actually could have used the extra length.
