Good deal for sure! Pliers are good, not snap on quality but good enough for shade tree wrenching; clamps that come are good! Works great for doing garage jobs.

Tool is fairly low quality, but okay for occasional use. Didn't include a good size clamp for the front driveshaft boot on my truck, which was the reason for the purchase, but was able to cut one down and make it work.

Another that maybe a full time mechanic would want an upgrade, but not the occasional user. Tie rods need a medium band, but the large can be cut and fit correctly.

The clamp plier is not very usable. The bite is so shallow that it slips all the time. I had to remove the "tongue" to let the plier get a deeper grip on the ears of the band to prevent slippage. It is difficult to exert clamp force due to the size or length of the clamp pier. Not an easy tool to use.
Wonderful product! Thank you so much!

DO NOT BUY! This tool is garbage, and the clamps themselves are no better! I have a 2017 4Runner TRD Pro with a long travel suspension on them. I needed to rebuild the CV joints and needed a tool and some clamps. The tool is trash and I needed to go to a local shop to borrow a quality tool. This tool will not crimp the clamps evenly and the tool has a ton of play in it. It’s literally cheep garbage and the clamps aren’t any better. After I’m done writing this review, I’ll be ordering better clamps that use the banding twist style tool. I never write reviews, but this kit gave me so many issues due to the lack of quality, if I can save one person from wasting their time and money I’ve done my job.

Ring bands worked well on sealing both inner and outer CV boot ends. Ultimately I used a different set of pliers to compress the cinch band clasp (Channellock End Cutting Plier). The cinching tool feels like it is made of a soft steel. It would get the job done, but it just feels cheap. What matters most is that the bands properly tighten around whatever needs to be cinched - and that they do.
