Not recommended for quickly grabbing a replacement for a dropped stick (the placement options are too limited), but excellent for keeping two pairs of sticks off the floor. Also, it's easy enough to break the plastic nub that keeps the stick tubes perpendicular to the clip; simply apply a bit of rotational pressure and the tubes will rotate. Clamped it to the support leg on my Donner electronic drum set. Grip is firm and sturdy.This is so much better than the screw clamp that I also have.
