These fittings adapt NPT threads to Camlock fittings, and they're awesome. Solid, well-cut threads make the NPT connection side easy and sure, while the camlock side includes a gasket so the seal is leak-free every time.I use these in a sump-pump setup, and it's great knowing there won't be a leak to worry about.

For regular camlock users, these are a little nicer than typical build quality. I’ve seen some with slightly better rivets on the handles, but these still feel sturdy enough to do the job. Conversely, the hose end is actually milled instead of being left plain cast, so you get a perfect seal to the hose. That was nice.For newer camlock adopters, consider fire hose as an alternative to the PVC lay-flat hoses. If you’re kind to your hoses, the woven fire hose material is substantially lighter to carry and store, yet performs the same… probably the reason fire departments use them, huh?

I got these camlock fittings to convert some hoses that I have from NPT, normally I usually get a npt to camlock adaptor but I thought I would give them a try and replace the hose end entirely.Compared to my other 2in camlocks these are a bit tighter when locked onto, but they still work fine with my other female camlock fittings.As for the barb end it is a little narrower than the one on the end that I was replacing but I was still able to clamp it on.Overall, it seems to be a decent camlock fitting.
