Welds great with no issues, I don't even clean them before welding. Seems to be high quality aluminum. O-rings seal tightly on the ferral. Use some lube on the o-rings, it helps everything go on smoothly.

The big orings don't go in the grooves they go on the outside of the groove that way when the 2 pieces are put together and the sleeve slid over the collar can go on and create a very tight seal. Tested up to 15psi so far and it's holding fine!!? Make sure you're putting orings in the right place!!

I think this is nice and well made, but I ended up needing a 3.5" version because I estimated when building my cold air intake, hoping it would fit. However, it's pretty cool, so I hope I have a chance to make use of it.
