I despise my handwriting (I have nerve stuff in my hands due to Spina Bifida) and I art journal and add text to my paintings, so I'm always looking for a way to add lettering and text to my work without having to get out the typewriter or print out text on additional pieces of paper and glue it in. Rubber stamps are helpful, but I hate aligning them and I hate the "will it or won't it stamp well?" aspect of it.This little template is perfect. It's very easy to use and very easy to align. My only beef is that the lettering style itself is quite wide- I'm familiar with engineering/architect lettering and I think these letters are a bit wider than what is normally used (I could be wrong, though). But it's definitely helpful for anyone who needs something to help them add neat, aligned letters to any project. I use a mechanical/drafting pencil to lightly trace the characters I need, and then I go back over them with pen and "personalize" them a bit, so it looks like a person's handwriting, but exceptionally near. I use the top and bottom of the template to keep everything aligned- if I have to, I draw a super light line with pencil across the top and bottom edges of the template as I use it to keep it lined up.I wish they'd do a lower-case version.

Cool. Just what I needed. Some are too expensive and come in packs of stuff I don’t need.

As a hobby I build D&D/TTRPG type terrain and buildings. I needed a letter stencil to help maintain size consistency in lettering added to mini merchant & inn signs. This works great for that purpose and the sizes are very small, 1/4, 3/16, and 1/8 of an inch (perfect for my needs). If it had Olde English font, I'd make this review 6 stars, but 5 will do for now.

I needed sturdy templates to etch identification into metal of various sorts and these templates gave me a choice between 3 different sizes. Also can be used to create additional templates in 10 mil plastic to preserve their usage.

This lettering guide is pretty much what I expected and it is easy to read and use but it is a bit expensive for what you actually get.
