Never used one of these before. Just bought to play around with. Etches glasses easily, rocks, wood.... Small, easy to use, and battery lasts a long time. Definitely would buy again

UPDATE!! Customer service reached out to me (right after posting this review) and sent the part that was missing. Now that I’ve been able to use this engraving pen, I like it. It’s not a powerhouse, but its size makes it super nice to use for detailed items. I’m glad we bought it, and would recommend this to others.And thank you to the nice customer service lady for taking care of us. 5 stars for her!We’ll leave 4 stars instead of 5 for having to deal with the missing part.We were very excited to try this out with some of our art projects. It’s a very cool tool!The downside is that ours was missing the collet that locks the bits in, so we were not able to try it out.I was asked to contact the mfg. directly, but it’s been over a week now with 3 emails and still no communication back from them.I guess we’ll look at other brands. 🤷ðŸ»â€â™‚ï¸

I’ve been eyeballing this little tool for a while until my wife bought one for me for Xmas. It sings to my inner engineer! It is beautifully designed and packaged in a tightly designed case that has a space for the tool, 30 engraving bits and 12 polishing bits. After the initial charging I put it into action and it behaved like a champ. I was impressed with how quiet it runs how long the charge lasts (a little over an hour) and the fact that the direction of rotation can be changed on the fly. So far I can’t find anything I’d change.. which is probably the highest praise I can remember giving any power tool.
