Your cart is empty. The USA version of this instrument displays the metric units (mmHg) on the inner scale and imperial units (inHg) on the outer scale.
The 6" brushed aluminum bezel and transparent silver and black dial is both bold and handsome. It's contemporary design is at home in the office, board room or the modern living room setting.
The barometer is equipped with a set screw for easy calibration. The back includes a hook for easy hanging.
Note: The barometer allows for sea-level calibration up to 3,000 feet. Do not purchase this barometer if you live about 3,000'. Avg barometric pressure is 29.92 around the world. Typically, 29.50 to 30.50 is the range. Anything lower is a tropical depression or hurricane. Your barometer may not move more than 1-1.25 inHg per day (+/- 0.5-0.625 inHg).

On some days I feel strong, energetic, and mentally alert. On other days I feel tired, headachy, and every joint in my body aches. Eventually I noted that my feel bad days correlated with the approach of a low pressure area. Life is a little nicer when you have a logical reason for feeling low. So recently I purchased this barometer. It has a little setscrew on the back where you adjust the dial to the barometer reading reported by your local weather station. There’s also a manual pointer you line up with the pressure indicator to aid in seeing changes. Well, the pressure pointer doesn’t exactly go wiping around the dial. It’s moved maybe 30 degrees back and forth while I’ve had it. On the other hand when I check with my local weather station, it verifies a correct barometric pressure reading. So now when I’m feeling tired and achy, I check the barometer hanging on the wall by my desk. By the way, it was reading 31 inches yesterday and right now it reads 27 inches, so the pressure is dropping like a rock, and the weather map shows a low pressure area heading this way. So that’s why I’m writing this. Normally I sit by my computer and write software every day, but today writing this is all the energy I have.

Had barometer for several days and the needle won’t move without tapping on it and even then it’s not accurate. Set screw moves the needle broadly making it very hard to calibrate.

I purchased two WS-152B barometers. One works and the other is completely inop. I checked the Ambient company for a replacement barometer, and they use an overly-elaborate return process to discourage returns. I gave up and threw the broken barometer in the trash can.

It is a very good dial, utilizing both inHg and mmHg. My only complaint is that kPa is not the metric unit, but I bought it knowing this slight shortcoming.In the box are the dial, a small screw driver-like key for calibration, a screw, and a drywall tap. It does not come with great instructions.To calibrate the dial to your location, look up the barometric pressure for your location (ask your phone). Then use the key on a screw in the back of the dial to adjust the dial to the correct reading. The needle will stick like with most analog dials, so set it down on a table and hit your palm against the table surface to bring it to the correct reading. This is expected.After it is hung on the wall, it will still stick even after calibration. That is still expected, so just hit your palm against the wall. It will bring the dial to the correct reading.

Without knowing what the relative humidity level is, it's pretty useless. It's not waterproof, but if you inclose it to keep it dry then you're defeating to purpose that it was bought for

I'm very happy with this product. It's much cheaper than any other similar products, so materials are not expensive. But this looks expensive. You're just going to set it and hang it and done, after all. I had no trouble setting this for my area, a small screw on the back, just turn gently. Directions are clear. I check barometric pressure for migraines. This works fine and looks nice on the wall.

This was the only affordable barometer offered by Amazon at the time, and I really wanted one. Happily, it works very well, adjusting readily to the ever-changing air pressure here on the coast of the continent. We observe its readings daily and are glad to have it.

Calibration was exasperating, never could get it right, and if I ever did, no way would consider trustworthy for more than a few days . I wanted an analog barometer to demonstrate to children. For the money is nice decorative item but maybe can't expect it to be reliably functional at this price point? My example was a lemon and returned.
