I mistakenly bought this as a shower nozzle because I got super drunk and decided to remodel my bathroom. I was thinking that if it was motion activated if I passed out again in the shower when I am enjoying my canned club med martini i could avoid the drowning risk. I also didn't want to waste water. Imagine my surprise and chagrin when I got a faucet instead of a motion activated shower head. Well when life gives person with crippling alcohol dependency lemons they make limoncello. I installed this thing where my shower head is, and then taped a shower schnozel to it. BAMN- eco/drunk friendly shower head. I guess you could use is as a faucet if you wanted to, but that's so pedestrian.

We ordered 3 of these and 2 of the 3 were defective. I had ordered these because of the price, other reviews on Amazon, and the type of battery it uses. We called American Standard and they said that these were the older models, which many had a defective Solenoid. They sent us replacement solenoids right away. If you order these, you should contact American Standard before installing them to get the replacement part M962389-0070A (Solenoid & Screws), or else you may have a non-working faucet until you receive the replacement part. These faucets are really heavy duty and are nice looking. Once installed with the replacement part, they seem to be working great. We are concerned, though, about how long it will last before it stops working due to the defective parts. I will update my post if they stop working. The plumber that installed them said they were a bit tedious to install and it took him about 3 hours to install 2 of them. It was his first time installing this model, though, and he said that he usually installs Sloans.

Quality all the way. I run a preschool so these get used a lot, they are wonderful quality that I am sure will last for years. Sohappy I found these.

Love this! Works really well. You adjust the water temp, when you install. It is great. Really cuts down on the spread of germs, because you can wash your hands without touching the faucet. It also looks very sleek

Had this installed last Christmas. After about 10 months and 2 batteries replaced. This unit is totally not functioning. For the price that they are charging for this item. I expect this to last much longer.

This works perfectly! We've only had it for 2-weeks, but it is fantastic.We installed it in our kid's bathroom, so that they would stop leaving the faucet on and wasting water. We simply hooked it up to cold, so that they would not burn themselves, and it works great, couldn't be happier.
