These plugs have a an ogee ridge around the perimeter of the plug top. Not a simple dome as pictured. Also, they're not chromed solid brass, they are cheap plastic with tensioning prongs along the underside to wedge into the screw hole on your indexer.Dissappointed

First of all, it came with two buttons, not one. The quantity listed as "1" is confusing. They were expensive, but that's how it is for hard-to-find specialty items.American Standard doesn't have their model numbers or even their brands on their faucets, so it was a lot of looking to confirm that I had an American Standard Town Square model. I luckily knew it was American Standard from an exhaustive search for a ceramic insert some time before, so I could focus on that brand! It would be handy to have pictures of the faucets in the item listing. Or even the dimensions of the buttons. They are certainly not "1.00 x 4.00 x 0.00 inches"!Anyway, to save someone some time, the dimensions of the buttons are: the diameter of the crown is slightly less than 11 mm; the height from the bottom of the button to the top of the crown is slightly less than 7 mm; and the hole it fits has a diameter of 9 mm; or in Imperial: crown 27/64″, height 17/64″, hole 23/64″. Hope this helps!
