I'm a fine art photographer who occasionally gets invited to exhibit in local galleries. Most galleries take somewhere between 25% and 40% in commission on sold pieces, and they generally request that you keep the price low enough to encourage sales. This puts me in a difficult position, because after spending money on fine art paper, printer ink, mat board and a frame, I'm somehow expected to make it all worth my while on 60% of the selling price. And of all of those materials, the frame is the only thing I really have any control over. The frames from a certain brick-and-mortar chain store are 100% junk (scratched wood or metal, bubbles in glass, or the flimsiest acrylic), and those from another chain store, while much better quality, are only affordable when they're on a BOGO deal. But the biggest problem is that none of those stores regularly carry the frame sizes I need. I've tried various different frames from Amazon, and the Americanflat brand is the first one that is beautiful, inexpensive, and of consistently high quality. I bought 10 of them at once for an upcoming exhibit, and there were no scratches, no bubbles, no chipped glass, no nicks or spots on the expertly cut mat—everyhing is just flawless. And so far it's the only brand I've seen that not only has the right frame size, but also the correct mat size (8x12 matted to 12x16 for 3:2 street photography). I highly recommend this brand, and I will definitely be buying more, in the same size as well as other sizes as needed.

We acquired a print of a yellow jacket done by a Native American artist. I had to search to find a frame with precut mat that would work for this print and this one fit perfectly. This has a nice glass front (no plastic) and the frame is well-constructed, although not elaborate or fancy. We are quite pleased with the result. A very minor negative is the hanger on the back, which is the typical sawtooth hanger, which never hang straight. I added two inexpensive rings on the sides and a wire, which works much better. If I had gone to any kind of frame shop or artist supply store, it would have been far, far more expensive.

Ordered several of these frames in the 11x14 size for office wall decor. They were packaged really well and are very nice product for the price. A lot of larger frames on Amazon are plexiglass, which we didn't want as we prefer real glass. The matting is a plus since we framed 8x10 photos. There is also a small cut out on the corner of the backing making it easy to pop the backing out to put the picture in.

I’ve bought at least 10 of these frames to create a gallery wall for a family member of their precious Maine coons. I’m so impressed not only by the quality of the frames and attention to detail but also the care with which they are packaged for delivery. You have multiple options for either hanging on a wall or displaying on a table. A white mat is included with the frame. I also like that they use glass rather than plastic. This is the brand I will be buying from now on.

Super easy! And I like that you can hang either vertical or horizontal with the built in hangers! Especially like that it’s shatter resistant glass!

Product arrive 2 weeks ahead of schedule so im very pleased with that, literally size was true to what was labeled and its come with the square fram if you have something smaller to put on the center.Frame panel is legit wood so its very cute.
