Our chickens needed to stay cool in the shade, and we opted to get this for them. Minimal swearing to install (husband/wife combo), and we think it turned out great. The hens are happy, and we are too!

House faces west. It's been 100 + intense sun on the front door. This year all that changed, easy install in front of the small overhang, effective shade on the door. We've been able to open the door w/o being burned by a hot door handle. Highly recommend
