I’m really pleased with this evaporator fan for my refrigerator. My old fan had started making loud noises and eventually stopped working, so I decided to give this replacement a try. It was easy to install, and it fit perfectly into my fridge.Since installing the new fan, my refrigerator has been running much more quietly and efficiently. The temperature is consistent throughout, and I no longer have issues with uneven cooling or frost buildup. It’s clear that this fan is doing its job just as well, if not better, than the original.The quality of the fan seems excellent, and it’s been running smoothly without any problems. My Amana fridge was warm and freezer cold. The fan was turning but was very slow. This new fan did the trick. Has been running great. Not too loud like some have said. I'm pleased with it.

My freezer suddenly thawed the top two shelves of my food & ice maker, but the bottom half of my freezer was still frozen. Same thing with the fridge side, warm on top, cold on bottom. Father in law took a look at it and determined it was the fan motor. Simple $20 fix later, & it’s back working, good as new, and I think it’s working better than before! The fan motor is a little loud like the other reviews say, but nothing too loud or unbearable. Hoping this fix lasts for a while.

The new fan motor arrived very quickly and was an exact size and connection match even though it was not an OEM part. Fairly easy to replace watching Youtube videos. Plugged in and it worked and fixed the problem great and for 1/6th the cost of a Whirlpool original part. However, the fan motor is quite a bit noisier than the original OEM fan it replaced. Previously I could rarely hear the motor running when the door was shut. Now with the new motor I can hear it running from across the room. Not enough to be irritating. Just a white noise. I would still recommend due to the cost savings over the factory part. Not sure I will get the same 17 years I got out of the original, but can replace 5 times and still be money ahead!

Great so far, I can't believe it was this easy to fix it! I can't hear any noise level differences from the original fridge motor.

cheap noisy crap from china. Save yourself the extra Labor cost for changing this part 3 times yeah Amazon you didn't help. But you did take return and I thank you!!
