Review November 2020:Oven heating element arrived damaged due to poor packaging, an oversized box with no padding. Connectors were bent but serviceable. Element is not centered and hangs up a little when it is screwed in. Installation was unnecessarily difficult. It is still working and has been used a few times.Edit May 2022:After a year and a half of heavy use, the heating element was working well. However, it failed due to a major baking mishap that dripped onto it... completely user error.I replaced it with another one that was packed more appropriately (unlike the first one) and it is working like a champ.Changing my rating - I gave 3 stars because I was annoyed by the negligent damage of my item, but the new replacement works like a 5 star product at a competitive price. Also, it is much straighter and was easy to install.

My oven element broke, and this one fulfilled its duty as the replacement. Easy to install.

Took all of 10 minutes to install including cleaning the oven out, 2 screws and the connections just slip out. Only a day into it so no comments on longevity of the part.Pros: cheaper than the equivalent part by about $5 from what I could find online, once screwed in fired right up.Con: I could see was that the coil was ever so slightly torqued, but it was so minuscule I couldn’t tell until I installed it and the whole thing didn’t lay flat. Also the old plate had very precise screw holes, this one had about a double screw hole drilled to allow for some play depending on how your oven fits, not a good or a bad thing necessarily but something to note.
