Don't be afraid of fixing your oven yourself if this is the part you need! I watched a few videos on how to replace it myself. It was just as easy as the tutorials made it look.Two important things to remember:1) Turn off power to/unplug the oven.2) And as you disconnect the leads to the old element, connect pliers, or something similar so the leads don't fall back into the firewall.

This heating element was the perfect fit but it took a good eye and exact measurements to get the right one I needed. So far, it doesn't disappoint.

This is the second time in 17 years I have had to replace the element in my hotpoint oven. (I bake a lot!) This element is a perfect fit and super easy to install. I would much rather replace an element than go buy a new oven!

We will see about its quality and performance over the long haul. At the moment, it is working exceptionally. It was the exact replacement shape and size to the “Tâ€. The wire clip-ins are exact as well. Installation was quite simple but that is 100% related to the build of our range. It will, Lord willing, save us for Thanksgiving next week. It heated up great and all of the element that is meant for heating was solid orange/red. As for packaging, thank you for sending it in its own sealed bag and inside of a box. The shipping was late by two days. Obviously that’s not a factor regarding the item but it was a bit of a wait when given the hope that it would be here sooner. It’s nice to know when I’ll be using my range or having to get fast food for the family. Thanks again for making this product much more affordable than anywhere else!!

I procrastinated replacing this forever because I wasn't sure how to do it. This part fit perfectly and was not hard to install at all. Yay oven!
