What's not to like? I've got an ancient Kenmore 18 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer, in its 22nd year. I had a feeling the temps weren't low enough and did a test with my current indoor/outdoor thermometer. Couldn't get the fridge colder than an indicated 45-degrees, and the freezer below 30-degrees. Not good...Cleaned the coils, vacuumed out the fan/shroud and condenser, cleaned the air pathway from the freezer to the fridge, moved the unit away from the wall a couple of more inches, and bought the AMIR to keep tabs. My purchase was based on AMZ Customer reviews.Setup the sending units with ease, and upgraded all three components to Duracell Coppertops. Been monitoring for a month, and this excellent thermometer's readings are consistently within range [targets: 0-degrees freezer/38-degrees fridge, on average].Have you priced replacement refrigerators lately? Fingers crossed I can keep this unit going for awhile longer!

Installing and operating without a glitch. Screen / receiver placed outside kitchen at +/- 10ft distance from fridge. Connection worked like a charm. Accuracy temperature sensors not measured but looks like ok for private non scientific environment use. All by all very glad with item. Longevity: time will tell.PS: review done in Hong Kong, not USA ! :-)

Have had this on my garage freezer for a few months now and has saved me when I noticed the temp was up a few degrees, my breaker tripped and I didn’t realize. Exactly the intent I bought this for

I ordered the AMIR Wireless Refrigerator Thermometer to eliminate the need to open the fridge or freezer door just to check the temperature. That objective was successfully met with this device, although I could never get the two remote temps to sync tighter than 1.2 degrees. The temp variance ranged over a 48 hour period of .9 degree to 1.4 degrees, with readings taken at different times. Seemed odd when both sensors were located side by side. The displayed temps should have been more like .1 degree difference, if any. I am however impressed that the monitor component has an alarm for each sensor. You can place the monitor display anywhere convenient to you and know the temp status at any time.I'm now testing for accuracy of temp readings against other wired temp probe devices. So far, results are not encouraging but readings are still stabilizing. Pressing the CLE button on top of monitor display removes the MAX Temp value and inserts current temp reading. I have observed that it takes a long time to see a realistic temp from these sensors, other than ambient temps. An ambient temp reading will be fairly stable within 15 minutes with this device, but in the fridge and freezer, it takes several hours to stabilize. Unacceptable, in my opinion. The sensors should be more responsive than requiring more than a few minutes to stabilize. Lastly, I am hoping to hear an audible alarm once the readings are stabilized because I set the MIN & MAX values prior to inserting probes into fridge and freezer compartments.UPDATE 2 hours after sensor installation: I have a 3-4 degree differential on freezer compartment, with wireless sensor still displaying a downward trend in values reported. It is just taking a long time to get to actual temp evidently. Again, not acceptable, in my opinion. The whole idea of an alarm is to buy time to resolve the source of the alarm being triggered. I don't need to hear an alarm 2 hours after the fact. The technology just does not appear refined enough for my expectations at this price point. Besides, you need a total of 7 AAA batteries for operation of the system. I may be returning this product.UPDATE 7 hours after sensor installation: The temperature differential between the two sensors' displayed temps is now about 3 degrees for the freezer (displaying a -10.3 although I've actually seen a -11). The fridge reading is 39.9 degrees even though by an actual mercury type thermometer, the actual temp is 35 degrees F. I will be sending the device back to manufacturer because I can get this level of accuracy at a much lower expense while also not opening the doors of the appliance.

After the French doors on our fridge were left ajar we had big time frost and had to toss food that wasn’t stored at proper temperature. This device works well

What a joke, I purchased these as the “updated†version of the older model, which I have, and for some reason they decided to determine that you have to use one sensor for fridge and one for freezer. On the older versions, which is still for sale and I’ll likely go back and purchase it again, you could set your alarm values at whatever you wanted. This one, you literally cannot set the second sensor alarm values below 32 degrees as the minimum. So what that means, for someone like me that wants to monitor and alarm on two freezers, is that one freezer will be fine and I can set the alarm if it gets too warm but the other one all I can do is view the temp, no way to set the alarm value to work with a freezer. Why is this? No idea and not smart at all, they programmed it this way, which is wild because the sensors are the same. They do mention this on the listing but it’s tiny print in one of the pictures, hard to see and easy to miss. If they just let the alarm values be set to whatever the user wanted, this would be a great product. But they messed it up.

I had a thermometer for fridge and freezer for years. Old school with actual mercury. Besides keeping a toxin in your fridge along with your food, it only read one at a time, so you had to keep moving it from one to another (or buy another one). Speaking of reading, it was really tough to do with the numbers being so small and the thermometer steaming up.With this set of thermometers, all that goes out the window. I can see how much temperature I lose when I open and close doors on the more than ample digital display. It gives me highs and lows so I can see if I have issues. This was extremely helpful for my beer fridge (located in the garage) which I found was getting up to nearly 55 degrees on hot days, but whenever I checked my old therm, it said temps were fine. Now I know.Good product. The only negative was all the batteries they consume. I'm hoping they last a while!

Thermometer works great. Have to remove batteries after each use as the screen stays on display.

Works great. Easy to understand instructions.I keep the main piece in my living room and the freezer/fridge thermometers in my garage and there’s no issue with the range. Seems very reliable.
