This fit perfectly in the back of a 2019 Ranger, as stated. The install was easy, less than 25 min. I purchased this as a gift for my boyfriend and he loved it. He had to buy a special tool to cut through the spray-in bed liner to get to the holes for the bolts, but he said it was easy and didn't take much extra time. Once it's installed, it just flips into the bed when not in use, so you don't have to remove it every time you aren't using it. It's a nice, sturdy item that appears to be well made, and worth the price.

This product has a bit of heft and is well-designed. It installed in 20 minutes on my 2019 Ranger with spray-on bed liner. I did use a M6x1 tap to clean out the 4 mounting points that were a bit clogged with bed liner. This is adjustable width and would easily fit a smaller or much larger width bed. It works just fine with myBAKFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover.

It fits the 2021 Ranger Supercrew!! I just installed it on my new 2021 Ranger Lariat Supercrew which has a spray on factory liner and a Bakflip Tonneau Cover and it fits perfectly, no problems. Remember, If you have a spray on bed liner you will have to clean out the bracket threads on your truck with a M6X1 Threading tap. The bed extender is strong, light, easy to install and made in the USA.

Very simple to setup and put together. Notice several buyers were dissatisfied in the reviews, but I didn't have any issues whatsoever, five stars. My only four star is I purchased my own stronger M-6 bolts from Ace Hardware after noticing several reviewers were not happy with the provided bolts that seemed to break in half, half-way through tightening them leaving the rest of the bolt literally encased in the truck. That would've ticked me off too, but thanks to the reviewers' "heads-up" I decided not to use the provided bolts, they did look a bit el-cheapo. So thank you reviewers for that. These bolts from Ace Hardware worked like a champ.Nice to place my 5-gallon water bottles in the back of my truck bed extender area now instead of inside my cab where one bottle had busted falling off the seat and on the floor spilling water everywhere.Very nice product, thanks AMP Research.

Not bad. Be careful putting the attachment bolts in the brackets and attaching them to the truck. Make sure you don't cross-thread them. I got the first 3 in, no problem. The forth went about halfway in and then the bolt snapped in half. Tried to get it out with screw extractor but ended up drilling through the edge of the insert on my truck. I'm not even sure it was cross threaded, they all went in very tight due to the pre-installed thread locker on the bolts. So I had to go to the home store and get a bolt and nut to put through that hole. Also, the securing strap connectors you're supposed to secure to the truck latch points are too big so there's no way to keep the extender held down when hauling cargo. I guess I'll find out.

Easy install, appears to be well made and will be super useful. Installed with a a bed liner and soft roll cover with out am issue. Claim is doesn’t fit a 2021 Ford Ranger but I it does.

-Ford Ranger 2019Bought this "pre-owned" from Amazon for half price but even then, still too much.Pros:-Will semi do what it was designed for.-Adjustable sizing as needed.-Very light weight.-Rubber feet on support bars.Cons:-Plastic feels cheap/delicate-Even using the straps to hold it down, there's nothing to keep the gate from just bouncing up with cage.-The bolts given for the mounting brackets are too big for the threads on the truck. Mine were broken from the previous owner. As you can see, the metal looks brittle/pot metal. I picked up some steel bolts and bore out the holes to make it fit. Had to remove tail light temporarily.-The back of the gate is suposed to have hooks to hold the straps or bags when not in use. Shows it in the manual as being molded into the support bars and not some attachments that didn't come with.-The anchor is just a small thin bolt with what appears to be a cheap plastic housing. I see this breaking/failing very soon and would just make a new one out of a long bolt and nut.Most of these gate extenders are pretty expensive, so I'll just keep it for the price I got it for, making repairs as needed.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

This is a good product, but a few things are important about the installation. The first is, as another reviewer pointed out, if you have a factory sprayed in bed liner, do not attempt to install with out first tapping out the factory screw holes. I took that reviewer's advice and used a 6m tap. Second, the instructions say to measure 7 inches, mark with tape, all a waste of time. Every truck is different. It is better to place the extender on the tailgate and adjust it in place. Then place the two sided brackets in place and screw in place. Lastly, you have to overlap the brackets where the bars slide in. Instructions state this. read carefully. Its important.
