The Amprobe TMA5 anemometer has a built-in vane to measure air velocity, temperature, humidity, dew point, wet bulb, wind-chill, and ambient temperature, and is used by HVAC/R technicians to measure wind flow and temperature in air conditioning systems. Wind speed averages every two seconds and is measured in knots (KNT), Beaufort (BFT), feet per minute (ft/min), miles per hour (mph), meters per second (m/s), and kilometers per hour (km/h), and the dual-scale thermometer measures temperature in F and C.
The meter displays maximum wind speed, and has a hold function for recording data. It requires one CR2032 battery (included), and the auto-power off feature that turns the meter off after approximately five minutes, and can be disabled. The meter includes a wrist strap, a soft pouch, and instructions.

The Amprobe looks like a reasonable way to measure windspeed but I've yet to get it to register above 5mph and that's even when putting it out the window of my car and driving at 10-12mph. I've had it replaced by the company and still no accurate reading. I guess it's good as an expensive thermometer but that's about it.
