Allows me to hook up my 3.5mm devices to my soundbar to spdif. I mostly used the spdif cable for another device, as my soundbar has a 3.5mm input. Though when I did use this the sound was clear. It is very small which is good. It has a bit of a niche usage, but if you can use it, it's been a good option. Allows uncompressed audio to be output.

It looked solid but I was able to get it working one time with my RCA Samsung TV and the Bose speaker. The Bose speaker worked fine on Blue tooth mode. The Samsung RCA output also worked well as an output to my Denon RCA input so I knew that its signal was good. The converter felt real warm when connecting to the USB power and its lack of power indicator (LED) was also a draw back to indicate power was available to this adapter. I will update this review if I was able to get this device working again.

Ottimo convertitore SPDIF da coassiale ad ottico.Faccio notare che non è possibile classificare la qualità del suono essendo solo un convertitore optoelettrico, con passtrough, quindi non interviene nella codifica del suono. Mettere una, due o tre stelle significa solo dare una informazione scorretta ad altri utenti per un problema di qualità audio che dipende dalla propria sorgente o destinazione digitale

Dispositivo di cui ne sto già usando uno simile in tutto, ma con RCA invece di Jack.Sul mio pc odio che mi si spenga la soundbar quando è collegata in bluetooth, quindi ho ovviato con un convertitore analogico digitale a ottico.Nel mio caso ho semplicemente staccato il vecchio dispositivo e collegato questo nuovo.Da tutto funzionante sono passato a ritardo nella sincronia audio allo spegnimento dell'audio dopo circa un minuto.Ho provato a collegare il jack all'uscita audio del pc, ad un'uscita dedicata su usb, nulla, si accende e trasmette malamente per qualche decina di secondi poi blocca.Per farlo ripartire devo scollegare alimentazione o cavo ottico, riparte e poi si blocca.Ho rimesso il vecchio convertitore analogico digitale ottico, e tutto funziona perfettamente (dispositivo preso sempre su Amazon oltre un anno fa).Questo è il mio test, ed è esattamente come lo avrei usato se funzionava, ma non funziona.Considerando quanto vi ho descritto, valuto il dispositivo in mio possesso non funzionante, avrei chiesto il reso.Di positivo questo convertitore analogico digitale aveva la compattezza e l'alimentazione usb-c, peccato.
