I think this is pretty good for the price, you don't have to change out except every year which is worth it for Alkaline Water. I used to pay $10.00 a month to fill a 5-gallon of alkaline water at a dispensary, now I just the syphon the water in my 5-gallon jugs from my own faucet and I have my own alkaline water cold or hot.

This looks heavy duty with all the layers of filter. It feels heavy (heavier than , but it’s 10†(as described), so double check that your brand of water filter requires a 10 inch one. My iSpring says their replacement filter is 9.5 inches. My bad for not checking.Now I’m looking for another brand of housing, hopefully cheap, so I don’t waste this perfectly good filter!

I bought a Matterhorn countertop water filter from Home Depot a couple years ago and it looks a lot like this brand. I went to get a replacement filter and they no longer make them -I think the company went out of business. I bought this one hoping it would fit. I didn't think it did at 1st as it did not slide over the "outie" , at least not very snuggly, but I screwed the outer chrome casing back on and it seemed to fit and I am getting nice filtered water coming through.

I had to search for a KDF filter. This works well and takes the fishy taste out of our water. It also removes other impurities, as well as Chlorine.

I love this filter. I love how it takes the nasty flavor out of the faucet water. It even takes out the chlorine smell and taste.
