I was so excited to find this PAIR of beautifully crafted, handmade bowls! I have been searching for 2 authentic, natural wood bowls to hold special ocean treasures {from two separate, special occasions} and I wanted the bowls to be similar, but not identical {have their own beauty} and showcase all the unique pieces, but not over power each other. I also love the smell of them, sounds odd I know, but it smells like freshly carved wood, NOT chemicals or plastic smelling!I’m so grateful I found these bowls, they make me smile every-time I look at them! I needed a fruit bowl and loved the thought of wood. I wished I had returned this. It arrived with a crack and isn't big enough. It looks nice but not for the price.

I really do like this, but I am not sure if it's love. lol... I wanted an organic shaped wooden bowl and this looked like it would be perfect. My main issue with it (which I can't capture in photos), is a weird bump inside the bowl. So, when I place fruit in it they don't lay quite right in that area. I wish they would have sanded/shaped that out a bit better. They may have chosen not to due to the indent is inside and out. Maybe they were afraid the bowl/wood would end up too thin in that area?? Not sure. It is a nice color and brings some warm coloring to our kitchen.

Used this bowl for my kitchen island decoration to hold potpourri. Helps bring in the Organic touch to my display. It was just the size I needed (I got the 6in bowl) and is nicely crafted.

UPDATE: I was sent a replacement bowl that is gorgeous and exactly what I expected.Beautiful wood grain. I knew the bowl would be irregular shaped but I didn’t know there would be huge chunks missing. It also had a crack.

It is shallow enough that none of the fruit are buried or crushed. The wood bowl is very attractive on my island.
