Works great and is the perfect consistency to ensure you get a good idea if you have a leak in the pool. I did A LOT of leak testing in my pool yet I probably didn't use up one twentieth of the dye that came in the 8 ounce bottle. But you know what, it was so reassuring to know that I could keep double-checking the same areas over and over for leaks without worrying about possibly running out of dye. Some other products include a much smaller amount or even a prefilled syringe(s), but I think paying for the 8 ounces is worth it for the peace of mind in knowing you'll have enough and won't run out. It's better to go into a leak check with plenty of product -- one less thing to worry about. The product itself worked like a charm and was perfectly visible and had the right viscosity to work as I expected. I very highly recommend it.

Worked perfectly. We had tried food coloring but it dissipates too quickly in the water. This really shows up, and doesn't take much product. We just used a small syringe we had for medicine dosing. It took some time because we didn't know where to start to look for the leak but persistence paid off and we found a hole in our pool liner behind the steps. I still have well over half the bottle left if we have a future issue.

Works as expected, meaning it performs the same as the small amount that comes preloaded in a separately purchased syringe. Plenty of dye in this container for years worth of testing. It's a shame that seller can't package this size container with a syringe (an item that costs him only pennies). But I suppose it's more profitable to get buyers to first buy a syringe containing a couple of tablespoons of dye at a relatively high price, and then have them come back and buy a whole bottle of dye. So the "setup" to properly do multiple tests for many years costs $20+. Knowing this now, and if I'd do it again, I'd only buy the somewhat pricey bottle of dye and use it with a syringe I can get for free from my local drug store or big box pharmacy.

This was a great deal for how much dye is included. Stuff works great in my white painted concrete pool. Leaks are easily spotted. This bottle goes a long way

I tried this in our pool with the syringe and added more of this refillable dye to use around the perimeter of my pool, after amount 15 minutes the dye dissipated into the pool water, the 1/4" ribbon of dye I had squirted out to find my slow leak was gone.! If you have a tiny pool or a fast leak this might work, but if you have no clue where your leak is this is a complete waste of money!

This works real well. It stays suspended in the water which makes it work really well. The dark blue is nice as well as it's easy to see.

Worked like a charm. Helped me find my leak in my pool. Would highly recommend. Buy this product if trying to check for leaks. Comes with a good quantity of liquid to get the project done.

All good ans as described. I tried finding the leak using a self made mix of food colouring with no luck. This product was so much easier.Definitely worth the price.

I purchased this to perform a couple of tests with our 3 toilets, not even pools. I had to pour at least 1/3 of the colourings in all three toilets in order to view the results. I was expecting to use less of the product. It's a decent product, but the color itself could've been a little darker.

I used it to detect a leakage in my spa but did not detect anything. One bottle is not enough to dye my regular hot tub volume.
