Newcomer to the fiddle world. Just know that the unmarked rectangular rosin in the case was very dusty and didn't grab quite like I thought it should. This comes in a plastic container and has very little dust.

I've been using the Andrea rosin for several years now and have to say it's the one I've liked the most. Low dust, good bite without being sticky. Smooth sound, not grainy.

I’ve been using Andrea rosin for many years, and always loved the sound of my bow with this rosin. This time the “cecilia†rosin came, instead of expected “andreaâ€. Externally it looks the same as Andrea, in the same box, but the rosin itself is so cheap.. Hissing, disgusting sound. The feeling that I play on some kind of a cheap violin, this much the rosin distorts the sound. Being upset, I immediately threw the rosin in the trash. I’m disappointed, because I’ve ordered different rosin, and really wanted to get what I ordered, and not something instead..

Best rosin ever! And all my friends (professional string players) that have it feel exactly the same way. Great stuff. Also.....not resistant to being dropped on wood floors, tile floors, piano benches, orchestra stages, being flung across the room by little brats etc.

Even cleaner articulations thn the Andre Solo. Rich sound, but noticible reduction in projection.

Rosin is really fragile, crushes into pieces, can't use it much anymore, paid Can $44.71 for it. And I can't return it since the return window is closed now and that's the only thing seller offered
