I got this for the intentions to use as snow molds for the kids to play with outside. The duck, heart, and snowman shapes come out super adorable, and it's very easy to use. I did see that it can be used for rice molds and making bentos but I haven't tried that out yet lol

These fun rice shape molds are for kids who can make shapes with rice or dough. They have a cool shapes with heart, ducks and snowman shapes which makes them unique and affordable at this price. Each mold is attached with a regular rubber band which makes it to press easily for the kids to create a mold.They are simple to use with dough or rice. But, when using with rice you need to have a steamed or hot rice to really make a mold. Sometimes, it took more time as you need to add more rice to make exact shape. They are neat and easily to clean after creating the mold.However, the plastic seems fimlsy and easily breakable. They are not super strong, but they are good for the purpose and feels delicate. To make the exact shape of the mold, it requires some effort especially with the bird shape. The heart shape is somewhat easier compared with other molds.

I ordered these to make shapes in my rice, which they did. However, they were a little hard to maneuver as the plastic is a little thin and made the hinge super loose. This meant I had to keep the rubber band on it and scoot it up and down the handle as it needed to open all the way and then close around the rice and form it. They did work, just needed a little elbow grease and engineering.

These are GREAT Fun for making rice treats for the kiddos!!These are Rice molds for sticky/sushi rice.You can also make up Rice Crispy treats and before they set in the pan, press some out in these molds!The kiddos will be so excited!!These are priced excellently for what they are!These are not thick plastic, but the shapes do come through!I tried to line one with chocolate to fill and then seal the two halves with more melted chocolate.This was a no go! The melted chocolate was not nice to the plastic of the mold. I think it might have been too hot, but learn from my mistake!I would recommend this to anyone that likes to dress up their meals or snacks!It is a fun extra step!And you can fill the rice with your sushi goodies as well!!

These are so easy to use and such great fun toppers for dinner!! I just scooped them right into my rice pot and they came out great. For sticky rice I sprayed cooking oil in the molds and they came out great too. It was so much fun serving chili with rice duckies sitting on top!
