I have my phone in a wallet that hangs around my neck. Noticed food, eraser crumbs, etc got caught in the mics, speakers and plug on the end facing upward. Tried to put my necklace on the opposite end of my phone but not successfulThought Id try these and they work well for several weeks now. Does not affect loudness or transmission of sound and protects it very well. Happy with my purchase.

Bought these plugs to replace the silicone flap on an older Otterbox case that had fatigued & fallen off. Wasn’t sure about them after seeing a number of reviews talking about how these plugs break or fall off easily, but happy to report we’re each still on our first one after 2 months. I think having a rigid case protecting the spot where this plug adheres to the back of the phone is the key to longevity.However, the actual flap portion of this plug is quite thin and a bit flimsy - plugging the chargeport takes a fair bit of finagling to get it aligned, as it tends to flop around; sometimes it also gets caught under a finger when pulling out the charging cable, which stretches it a bit. For this reason, I’m not sure how long these will last before also fatiguing, but luckily they come in an 8-pack.A full 5 stars for the little mesh speaker covers, though. Not only do they protect the speaker grilles from collecting dust, the mesh actually keeps the dust from sticking together and collecting in the cutout of the phone case, as it was constantly doing before. As a result, while there’s no way for that area to stay 100% clean on its own, it’s much cleaner than it otherwise would be in the same amount of time without the mesh covers. Highly recommended!It should be noted that just like the plugs, the edges of these covers are entirely concealed under the phone case as well, which goes a long way toward making sure they stay on & don’t catch on anything.

I am constantly in dirty, dusty environments, and over time it builds up in the charging port of my phone. I have tried multiple ways to keep it covered, but everything I tried either didn’t work, or was too cumbersome to deal with.These work great. I cleaned an area on my case with alcohol, and stuck the flap directly to the outside of my case. The plug stays in place, and when I need to plug my phone in I never lose the plug! The cleaning set, and the screens for the microphone and speaker are an added bonus.

Hard to get super excited over a dust plug but the bottom line is they work as intended so it’s all good!
