I made a treasure chest for a wedding card box. This hasp i feel looks great. It was easy to put on. The only Issue i had was the tiny screws they come to mount it with kept stripping the head out when i was putting them in. But i just drilled out holes first then used a different screw to start all of them. It is definitely thin metal so its not going to be super super secure. But this is for looks more then anything else. But it does work and hold up very well for what i needed it for. This would be perfect for a jewelry box.

I can recommend this product. I used it to make a birthday card for my wife's 50th and it turned out great. I was asked several times where I got the hinges from. A pleasant surprise for a change. The measurements of screws and hinges are accurate, which was important especially for the screws since I had only a certain thickness of the wood to work with. Cudos to the manufacturer!

Bought to turn an old metal computer box into a lock box for a child, the only difficulty was screwing the screws into the metal. It was 1970s metal so built tougher than Chinese manufacturing. I superglued it to the box and it held perfectly. The lock functions as expected.
