This is a really nice looking stand. I love the look, and that it is antique looking metal. It is a rustic color. Which is what I wanted. It's very sturdy. The only big thing I don't like about it is because it is made of metal, it is very noisy when you pick it up to move it. I try to sit it upright while storing it. But it keeps falling over. Clank, clank! But it serves it's purpose.

I thought I was buying a solid black wrought iron looking item. I was surprised, pleasantly, when I opened the box. It has a nice antique metal look. It is very sturdy and able to hold almost any book. I'm going to enjoy using and looking at this item for a long time.

I’m so very happy with this book stand!!!! This particular Bible is quite thick, and has soft binding. But the tray holds it perfectly. In these pictures, it looks like the page holders at the top are different lengths, but they aren’t; that’s just the way I chose to drape them. I’m so happy that my Bible no longer lays on my piano opened to one of my most highly counted on scriptures, now I can stand it up prominently. This stand is absolutely beautiful.

Great addition to my kitchen and has been already used almost daily. Hate the antique coloring. It makes it look cheap, damaged, and not taken care of. I will end up repainting it plain black when I get the chance

Wasn't sure I was going to like the "antiquing", but I love it! I have some tall and some thick cookbooks & this holds them & the page weights keeps the book open to the correct page! (Photos of oversized books. Very tall and 2nd book is 600+ pages!)

The item was damaged when received as seen the top right has bent when compared to the top left.Honestly the quality is lacking for the price and expectation was of a thicker quality metal plate, the current one feels a little like a tincan lid thickness which is why it warps and does not stay stiff.

The colour was really ugly. The 'rust' looked too obviously painted. Blacker would have been nicer.The metal sheet on which the book would rest was too flimsy and was already warped upon arrival, making the item look cheap, even though it was not inexpensive.I really regret buying this, but because overseas shipping costs are non-refundable, will not return it.
