This book holder is sturdy and fits our white cabinets in our kitchen very well. It's able to display our Heroes Feast book nicely in the kitchen when we aren't actively using it. It also has a nice balance so it doesn't tip over easily. It's also able to hold a book open so that you can look at a recipe. Perfect!

What a great little piece for holding up a cookbook or a piece of art! I ordered this initially thinking I would use it for the exact purpose the item description provides - as a cookbook stand. However, once I got it open ed, I thought it may be better suited as a more decorative stand for one of my framed certificates that hasn't been hung yet. For the time being, it's still awaiting its true destination, but I thought it would be humorous to include a photo of the box it came in - and then to show it displaying the box it came in! Think of it as the inception of cookbook stands!I like that this is a minor engineering marvel - there are no hinges or nails or screws or glue. Juat two pieces of wood which have been cut to interlock and then support an object. Quite the clever design, albeit not life changing. Definitely recommend.Bonus feature: When I unwrapped it, the scent of freshly cut lumber was noticed immediately. I was transported back a few decades and mentally found myself in my 7th grade woodshop class. Ah, memories.

I ended up returning because of the size. I wanted to display a book on a corner shelving unit but it wasn’t as I expected. My fault for not measuring. It is a nice piece just not for me.

It comes in two pieces, you just fit it together at the notch and it works perfectly. Holds a cookbook at the perfect angle to read while keeping it up off of the working area.
