I had my Ring for over a year just in the box because I didn’t want to damage my new build rental home by screwing in my doorbell. I was so excited when I found this because it’s the perfect solution! It was super easy to set up and works great. I’ve had it up for over a month and it’s very sturdy and hasn’t damaged the door.

So aside from the obvious benefit of the prevention, this device is great because you don’t have to go through the hassle of mounting and anchoring if you live in apartments like us. Just screw on your door and take it on and off as you please. The included foam is great and makes it so the doorbell doesn’t move or rattle inside. We love it and think it’s definitely worth it especially for the price.

This is perfect if you’re renting and don’t want to have to deal with the hassle of filling holes when you move out. It secures to the door really well and it easy to adjust. It was really easy to set up. We set it up right above our deadbolt and the Ring is able to capture and pretty good distance from that vantage point. It also isn’t bulky. Overall, it’s a really good product.

This fits my ring doorbell perfectly. Setup was very easy. It comes with Styrofoam pads to ensure a good fit. Durability seems to be good for the price. The box doesn't hinder the motion detection either. Overall I would definitely recommend this product to anyone living in a apartment building or any other similar situation that wants their security to be secured.

As others have posted, seemingly no definitive way to know that the mount will "fit" your door/frame such that you won't see a gap where it is placed. I will however give it (4) stars for overall quality. I wanted a mount that was (4)-sided with the cut-out for the right angle view and this one fits the bill. It is solid and looks sharp but I also had to put a piece of cardboard on the inside of the door between the mount and the door since applying a little pressure to the spin wheel on the back to make sure it was securely situated quickly left a circle in the paint. Also, remember that to recharge, you will have to disassemble the back and remove it from the mounting cage.

I was getting a lot of ding dong ditchers at my apartment and got this to hold my ring and it’s made me and my landlord happy! Easy set up, performance great, valued purchase, securely holds my ring in place, and mounting is amazing. It doesn’t obscure the camera lens, still allows the voice feature without complications for muffles it, and inspired my other neighbours to purchase.

Good quality and perfectly fits the Ring doorbell. Helps provide that sense of security when you can’t actual mount the doorbell outside. Very easy set up.My only complaint and I didn’t think about this until after I got it all set up is if you have a screen door your view will be obstructed. We mounted the doorbell on our main door but with the screen door also closed, half the camera is blocked. So it wasn’t perfect for our use. But for other cases without the screen door it should work as a great alternative to mounting the doorbell onto the house!
