I am very pleased with my purchase of this metronome as it serves the purpose that it was intended for which is to learn to play guitar. The physical product is nice in appearance made with a black hard plastic outer shell and the pendulum swings back and forth with ease in a silver metal. Winding the product up is simple and has about 20 minutes before having to wind again. Anybody can use this product with ease as it is very simple to operate. Best thing about it is that it does not need batteries as it is powered by winding it. I highly recommend this metronome to any fellow beginner in playing or learning an instrument for its price and simplicity.

One star off because I needed to bend the measure selector a little to get it into the bell off position.Everything I’m about to say is opinion and personal preference. First off it’s plastic so the tick sounds like it would being amplified by plastic. Didn’t expect it to be anything other than plastic it was described well in that regard. For me it was way to loud and distracted me with playing me. Heck it was distracting for everyone in the next room. If you music or environment is loud this might be perfect for you. It wasn’t for me so, I had to take it apart anyways to bent the selector knob so I could turn off the annoying bell. Easy to take a part though bottom just pops off with a flat screw driver, 3 screws inside that and the whole guts pull out.This was a plus to me! Easy to modify or self repair if it ever even needs it.While inside I noticed if you gently squeeze the out side of case on the sides the tick sounds much more like wood and pleasant to the ears.Sooooo as you can tell by the picture I stuffed the inside with foam which stops the bell from ringing not it’s just a click and the the rock sounds amazing!The trick is to make sure the foam doesn’t get in the path of any moving parts. Sounds way more expensive now than it actually is.

Great little metronome at an awesome price, perfect for all types of beat tempos. I’m getting back into guitar and this really helps pacing and finger placement while learning licks. Nice hard plastic shell, with cover and stopper to protect the internals when you put it up. It does have a bell that you can turn off for note pacing lol it is loud. Over all it’s a major Go.

I recently bought this for my wife, who is learning to play piano. This took the place of a downloaded metronome that she was using. Using a metronome on a phone is very difficult to hear. This item is of good quality and is able to be heard over her piano. It is very sturdy and the quality is excellent for the price.

Not sure what exactly is wrong but one side is slow and even after being fully cranked it stops going a few seconds in. We had a close family death right after we got it so I was not able to return. Physically it appears to be nice quality but it is useless. Frustrating to be out the money. I have used many of these so it is not a user error.

This made of plastic but very well constructed. It is much easier to carry and move around than a heavy wooden one. It is accurate and simply easy to work with.

This is more of a gift piece than something you would actually use for music. It's a great conversation piece. It holds time for 98% of people. It's discrepancy is minor.
