This is a specialty type item, but if you are looking for a strobe warning light that also has solar charging than this maybe for you. I gave it five stars because it fits my needs fine...but...it does have some drawbacks that might not work for you. For one thing it is basically either on or off, there is one switch and that's all it does. When on it does its strobe light thing with only that one option...or its off. It is a "dawn to dusk" type light, it charges during the day and then runs all night if it charged in direct sunlight. If not fully charged you won't get all night...but it comes close. That is fine for use as an emergency warning light. You can pretty much just put it somewhere and let it do its thing. It has a pretty strong magnet on the bottom to hold it to a metal surface. It says it is waterproof, but I would make sure it is not on ground level where it might encounter a lot of water. For rain by itself it seems tight enough to deal with that (it has not rained here yet). The light is not super bright, but bright enough to be seen when used as a warning light. If it were brighter it would decrease its run time so there is a trade off there. I will note that it does not come with any instructions at all...what's in the box is the light and that's it...but with just one button to push its not hard to figure out. It works for my purposes.

The light worked only one night and then quit lighting up, even when fully charged.

This is great for my purposes, which only required to flash at night. However be aware that that's the only time this beacon will flash, is at night.Puts out a nice little strobe blink every couple of seconds. Really bright if you are above the center line of the lens, but if you are below the center line of the lens it's not so bright. In other words, for the proper effect, it needs to be placed below the sight line of whoever you are warning.Magnetic base nice and strong, really clamps on to steel.

I’m a retired military pilot and love the taxi/runway lights. This was a simple way to make my front lawn more Aviation Relatable.I have purchased 6 of these with a 50% failure rate after significant rainfall. The other 50% is solid and works well.
