I added these as over-temperature sensors to a marine engine. Weeds, silt, etc. can block the water intake causing the engine to overheat. You don't know unless you constantly watch the gauges.So, I added three of these to the engine- one on the thermostat housing, one on the exhaust manifold water jacket and one on the exhaust manifold elbow. Easy to so with thermal conductive glue and also with beefy zip ties.I used the normally open sensor in series with a very bright red LED I mounted on my dashboard.Wouldn't you know, the second time I went out the light went on. The temp gauge registered 150 (normal is 120) and was climbing fast. It worked!!

I used this to make the high temp light on my polaris quad work. It took some reading of schematics, but it does work as intended and now I know if something is going wrong.

温度スイッチにはノーマルオープン（通常開いてる）型とノーマルクローズ（通常閉じてる）型があるということがわかりました。（外見は同じ。）このタイプはノーマルオープンでテスターつなぎハンダごてで実験すると１１５度でカッチっと通電はじめました。温度スイッチとはてっきり１１５℃で切れるもんだと思っていたので失敗でした。あまり需要がないので安いのかな？再度ノーマルクローズ（通常閉）１１５℃を注文して加湿器の修理を完結できました。パーツが好きなのでこれは大事にとっときます。いい勉強になりました。
