I have no dislikes, however if you are not prepared to grind off the hardened steel mounting pins then take your truck somewhere for repair. These are a kit with fasteners that repair your latch assembly that is the mount for the cables. Once the pins are ground off with a hand held grinder and knocked out with a hammer and punch and then the new pin replaces it. I had to dress the hole slightly with a rat tail file to get the pin in. Also the latch assembly is hooked to linkage and it's best to leave it alone so the latches have to be reworked in place. Take the Torx fasteners out and it will move just enough.

Cables have stretched badly and now one is an inch too long while the other does all the work. Pay a few extra bucks and get something made properly with quality materials.

It fit my S10 pickup perfectly. After grinding the old piece off the tailgate this installed very easily and quickly. The length matches the original on the other side. When I get time I will replace them both, grinding took a while!
