Fit perfectly and look just like the originals. I ordered these but the day before they arrived one of the originals ( 2002 Ford Ranger ) broke. Installation was straight forward, with a simple and methodical approach. There is a washer between tailgate and mounting bolt which can slide out of place. Bolt head is a torx head either 40 or 45.

These are the correct length and fit a 94 Ranger. Like others have mentioned, the cables aren't as thick as the originals, but if you're shopping for these, your originals are breaking/broken anyways.

Sure they were easy to install on my 2000 Ford Ranger. But credit Ford for that. They designed it. So far it is durable and meets expectations.

Works great fits well on my Mazda 2000 b2500 truck only thing is that the original bolts are long so kinda sticks a lil bit out but works well and doesn't bother with opening or closing tail gate. Definitely needed it and it works
