This is one tuff hose. High quality and durability. One note to add...When storing your hoses don’t lay them down flat, they’ll wear and develop leaks. Stand them upright!!!!!

These are total garbage. DO NOT BUY. We bought a total of 5 of the course of a month and so far 3 have failed within the first hour of use. One busted at the seam in the middle of the hose. The other two burst at the connection to the coupling. This last one burst instantly as soon as we turned on the pump. Complete waste of my money.

The Apache 98138045 2" x 50' Blue PVC Lay-Flat Discharge Hose with Aluminum Pin Lug Fittings Holds up to the abuse I give it and quickly connects to my other hose easily. I like the heavy aluminum hose nipples with a heavy brass nut. It should last years and not fall apart like the plastic junk out there. You can connect together these hoses to get the length required for your job, or even connect to standard two inch PVC pipe. Not of the reinforced thickness of the hoses that come with some new pumps no problems as yet and I am hard on my stuff. .Easy to clean and roll up for compact storage.

Can't speak to durability, but the hose is swaged to the ends, not clamped, so nicer to handle--nothing to snag your hands. Twists and kinks pretty easily, but that is the nature of this type of hose. It rolls up easily and stores in a box on top of the pump. 50 feet is exactly the length I needed, and with another 100 foot hose, will meet my needs, if I ever have to use it to protect my home.

We are draining an old mill's water room, and we have this laid out on the ground. It is hooked up to a sump pump that runs almost continuously and we haven't had a single issue with it. It's rained, hailed, hurricaned (yes), and dropped to 8 degrees F; and yet this hose has not busted, sprung a leak or failed us yet! It's a good product.
