The axle that came with the car had a groove that is like what you would use as a shear pin. You guessed it, the OEM axle broke in two, right at the groove. I YouTubed the replacement process and had it changed in an hour in the driveway. I didn't even need to tow it anywhere. All I used was the car jack and a few tools.What a great experience.
