I recently had a glow-plug fault light appear on the dash of my F250. After checking all the usual suspects (connectors, wiring).. I was left with replacing the glow-plug module.This was very simple on my Ford, as the module is easy to get to.I installed this module 5 months ago- and the truck has been starting perfectly, with no warning lights.I would recommend this module as an inexpensive replacement for the original.

Wouldn’t start in cold weather and noticed the solenoid wasn’t turning on to preheat the glow plugs. It was a new solenoid so I grounded one side and it worked finding out my module wasn’t switching properly. Installed and the problem was fixed. Now I can hear the solenoid kick on when I go to start… doing what it’s supposed to do.

Had a Ford Super-Duty with a 6.0l and had a defective glow plug module. Ordered this one and plugged right in and started up normal. Let it run for awhile and seemed to be working fine. Shut it off and let it sit outside. About 20 minutes later I go back out and see a large amount of smoke under the hood. The module was smoldering and had to yank the plugs. It melted one of the connectors. Had to but an oem module. Now I know not to go the cheap route for certain items. Hope others don't encounter this issue.

It works so far so good. I had bought glow plugs and harness before buying the glow plug module. I thought I would try the module first ,sines it was the easiest to do. And boom! Just like that no more codes or anything. Truck starts better in fall cool weather.

Plugged this up, started the truck and this piece of trash caught fire on the truck. Now my entire glow plug harness has to be replaced. Are you going to pay for the damage that your defective part caused or do I need to get a lawyer?

If I could give it zero stars I would!!! As soon as I plugged it into my truck it started smoking and melting the plugs on my wire harness!! I thought I was going to start my truck on fire!! I had to unhook the batteries and wait for it to cool down before I could touch it. Very lucky I caught it in time before my truck actually caught fire!!Now it caused me a whole bunch more work fixing my wiring harness on my 2006 ford f350Zero stars!!! .

The green and black plugs are on the module backwards. I hooked it up green to black and black to green and worked fine.

The the plugins are backwards so it does not work on truck it shows right on picture but it's not right
