I have a 2003 ford ranger edge and it does not work it just keep going backwards pass the C when I turn on the truck and then back to normal when truck is off

Got to be honest here, when I purchased this it was on a wing and a prayer it would be the right part with the listings showing 2 separate parts for the job. This fit my '98 ranger 3.0 exactly. Guages and PCM are working fine after changing both temp sensors.

Some of the sensors have different hookups check your hook up and see if it has wings on it

I bought this product because I thought it was the temperature sending unit sensor but this was for the coolant temperature sensor. But it still needed to be replaced because it says they should be replaced every 35k miles. Great price made it worth replacing.

Direct replacement in my vehicle and working as expected. Note: make sure you have the correct installation tool (also available from Amazon) for sensors can be damaged easily and rendered useless with standard sockets and wrenches.
