I originally stated the motor was not compatible with my 2009 Sonata but that was only because a plastic piece that attaches to the gear was stuck in the regulator. Once I removed that piece, the motor fit perfectly.

Dealership tried to charge me $850 for my stuck window. I declined the service along with all the other work which totalled to almost $3K. They gave me a 15pg summary of the work I needed w/photos to boot, lol. Got this installed and it took all of 15mins. My window is fixed😛😛😛

I do not recommend purchasing this product. It installed easy and worked fine for 2 Months. I roll the window down one day and it did not go up again. The motor was completely dead. I purchased a different brand and it seems to be working fine so, we will see how long this one lasts.

The part worked fine for two months. Now it’s starting to malfunction. I’m having problems where my window will go down and don’t won’t to go back up. And if I push the button for it to go down half way and then push the button for it to go back up it would go down instead and won’t go back up.
