Bought this for my 2008 Honda Civic with 205k miles. Once the old starter gave out I bought one from another vendor which never came, so I ended up buying this one that came in a timely manner. It fit perfectly and was installed with no issues at all, so I can’t really complain! ðŸ‘ðŸ½

I purchased this to replace my 09 Honda Civics Starter that had failed. My mechanic friend swapped the parts with little issue and my Civic has been running since July 2024 (3 and a half months at time of review) with no issues.Should any issues arise with the part, I will hopefully return to this review and update. But as of now, the part functions fine and is a suitable replacement.

I replaced the starter from my '06 Civic, which lasted 18 years and 118K miles. So far so good. I also like that returning the core is not required from this seller. The starter comes with a 3 year warranty, but hopefully it will last much longer and will keep the car running for another 7-8 years or so.

The starter went bad on my 2008 Honda Civic and I was quoted >$500 to replace it by my local Honda dealer. Decided I'd just replace it myself, so I bought this one. It feels pretty solid and doesn't take too long to switch out. My car starts much quicker than it used to now, sometimes only turning over once or twice before the engine revs up. Would recommend.

Starter looked brand new, came with a testing sheet and claimed to be mitsuba which I believe is an OEM. Unfortunately the plastic electrical connector was broken off, which I imagine happened during delivery. Ended up finding a new starter locally and returned the broken one.

Works great for my civic, the starter came with the test results and it says it was a mitsuba starter which is a Honda OEM starter. I installed it myself although I think next time I'll probably go to a mechanic to install as it took my 5 hours to install as the space is so tight. Other than the difficulty of installing once it was in it started right away. Thanks for the great deal!

Très bonne qualité, complet avec connecteurs électriques.Fonctionne à merveille.Difficile à installer dû à sa localisation derrière le moteur.Livraison ultra rapide.Très bas prix. Je recommande.

I just replaced my Honda Civic 2007 starter which died after 184000KM and 16 years of harsh Canadian winter. Car starts like a champ.DIY of this type was tough as HONDA guys have probably very tiny mini hands but not me ;-).

This starter is a great option for the do-it-yourselfer. The price point is amazing compared to Honda's and other part stores even with no core return. (I really hope this seller or Amazon considers offering this recycle service for environmental purposes.) The starter was a straight forward installation and has been working well ever since.
